Tara was a bright young girl from a small town near Amritsar. Her father ran a small service business, and her mother was a homemaker. Tara had a younger sister whom she adored, and as the eldest child, she always felt a strong responsibility toward her family. From an early age, Tara was an excellent student, known for her dedication and hard work.

After completing her BCA from Khalsa College University, she went on to pursue her MCA from GNDU. Tara had big dreams. She didn’t just want a job—she wanted to do something meaningful and help her family financially. Her parents had always supported her, but now it was her turn to support them.

After finishing her studies, Tara began looking for a job. She wanted to explore her talents in the tech field, but the first job she found was at her old college as a teacher. While she was happy to be working, she felt that it wasn’t the right fit. Teaching wasn’t the challenge she craved, and she knew she wanted more from life. So, after working there for six months, she made the tough decision to leave the job and look for something better.

Eventually, Tara found a job as a software developer at a local IT company, working in PHP technology. While this was a step in the right direction, she soon realized that staying in her small town wouldn’t lead to the big opportunities she dreamed of. Tara knew she needed to move to a bigger city to truly grow in her career. Her parents were hesitant at first. The idea of their daughter moving away for a job made them worried, but Tara explained her dreams to them. Finally, with their support, she was selected for a good position at a large company in a bigger city.

After she joined the new company, many changes happened in her life. Tara got married and moved to the city with her husband, building a new life together. For a while, everything seemed perfect. Tara was proud of how far she had come—working in a good job, earning well, and building a stable future for her family.

But as time passed, Tara began to notice something troubling at work. Office politics started affecting her. At first, she didn’t pay much attention. She believed that if she just focused on her work, things would get better. But then she realized that her manager, Jot, was being unfair. No matter how hard Tara worked, Jot never appreciated her efforts. Instead, she would always get negative feedback, even when she put in extra effort to succeed.

Tara’s friends at work, Prab and Lato, were kind to her, but even they couldn’t help her in this situation. She began to see how different people could be—some would act like they were her friends, but behind her back, they would spread rumors or compete unfairly. Tara felt alone and frustrated. She worked so hard, yet it seemed like no matter what she did, her manager was determined to hold her back.

Tara started to wonder why this was happening to her. She had always believed that hard work would pay off, but here she was, stuck in a job where she was undervalued. There were times when she thought about quitting, but now her responsibilities were greater than ever. She had her family to think of, and she couldn’t just walk away.

Despite the difficulties, Tara didn’t give up. She knew that quitting wasn’t the answer. With the support of her family and her determination, she continued to push forward. She believed that one day her hard work would be recognized, and she would earn the promotion she deserved.

Tara’s journey wasn’t easy, but she stayed hopeful. She had faced struggles before, and she knew she could overcome this challenge as well. No matter how tough things got, she reminded herself that she was strong, and that success would come to her, sooner or later.
